It's my pleasure Joost. Any bigger an I would go for one of my fixed blades. This thing locks so stable it actually feels like a fixed blade
As to weight, it feels the same as the Farmer. I need a scale.

Think that your choice is right, my friend !
That a big chunk of beautiful, perfectly crafted metal !
The SR1 i was thinking about is 18 mm longer than this yours. Too big.
Definitely i need to be allowed to take a visit to the factory (hope in january...)

As I wasted some time on the forum, I just made late dinner (typically Spanish). Used the SR2 to cut veggies. It is sharper them my ceramic chef! I do need to add that the ceramic chef has been used for a while, so it is probably getting a bit duller then it initially was.

Are you looking at aluminium or titanium ones?

I went with aluminium to, I believe it is actually lighter? It has got the super hard Sleipner steel, and more colors are possible then on the Ti versions.
    All wins for me.

Well thanks Renegador. It's getting old though. :) Still am not looking for a replacement. I am not that much a tech freak as I once was. I guess I am more of a gear freak now. As opposed to tech, steel does not depreciate in value that quick.

Just back from the hospital. My wife is no longer in treatment, and declared healthy as a fish. :D (freely translated from a Belgian expression - I don't think it is used like that in English ;)) The doctor asked me if I wanted the stitches, said they are titanium. I immediately replied yes! I'l take em! I have no titanium gear yet, and a few stitches that kept my wife together would be awesome as first titanium EDC! (you never know when stitches come in handy, and being titanium, weight would not have been an issue. I also could experiment on bluing then with my torch lighter)
When we where about to leave I asked where the stitches where? The nurse told me she thrown them in the trash, as they where not looking nice.:confused: I had seriously had to control my dignity or I would have got my hands dirty and scoured that trash for my titanium stitches.
Then I told the doctor with a calm voice: It's ok. Leave them in the trash. And then we left. :( :censored: Still no titanium for me.
Anyway, who cares for titanium anyway. I invited my wife for dinner to celebrate her good health, and all's well again. :D
