New HTC One cover in Ostrich skin, and a silver SAK! Lets zoom in!
Aww! Dat logo!!! Let's zoom in some more!
Yep, this is an original 1971 military issue Swiss army knife. Swiss cross logo with "W-K" horizontal in cross. In pretty food condition, I will cary it for a while, and then it goes in the vault. I need to buy a vault now!
Some more pics
The SA one will take 2 to 3 weeks
That is one fine knife.. Looks very good for it's age.. can you post a close up of the engraving in the blade? (not the 71, but the other side)
That's pretty incredible! Congrats on the SAK, microbe.
Cheers Joost! For its age, it looks better then me
pic coming later today.
Thanks Bubba! Unfortunately, they did not made black ones in 1971, but I wanted a SAK as old as I am, so silver will have to do.

from Left to right: Classic, Rambler mod, Minichamp mod, Cadet LE, Cadet, Pioneer, Farmer LE, Midshipman LR
I asked the 2 modded ones for the shields to be reversed, but I should have specified it better, so the keyring was on the correct side - so that is that they matched the bigger ones. Well, it is what it is. I know it for next time now
Very nice collection..
If you don't mind me asking, how much did the Rambler mod (and the Minichamp) end up costing you? I never asked Henry how much he charges.
Hi Enki, Henri was great, for a single mod the price would have been pretty steep. But when I asked him for these, he raised some more interest online, so he could get combined shipping part prices that lowered the final price. (hence me ordering 2) . The final price he gave me (including shipping) undercut Swissbianco (excluding shipping) by a coupple of Euro. Still, not cheap, but worth the costs imho. I love the Alox Minichamp. It is the true essence of a Swiss Army Knife, in mini form. You have got to hold it to realise what a marvel it really is.
The Minichamp got promoted to keyring accesoire, the Leatherman Style went to the drawer.
Very nice Minichamp and black alox collection in general.
Thanks my friend! The few black ones I am missing are as rare as hens teeth.
Still, very happy with my current collection, it works just fine for me.
"...as rare as hens teeth..." That is good. I have to remember that.
Today's bag and pocket dump
I just went from "Loaded pockets" to "Uber Prepared"
Great collection of the aloxs.
