It is S TFF-3 Sheepsfoot Slicer I think it has been discontinued but could be wrong it's a big blade but handle is fairly slim. I don't have the knife on me today it's at home but I will post an in hand shot later tonight but here are some specs I found Blade: D2 Tool Steel (0.19") w/ Tumbled finish Handle: Black G10 (front); Titanium (back) Pocket Clip: Titanium Extras: Black Storage Case Blade Length: 4-1/4" Closed Length: 5-5/8" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here is some shots in hand and next to a Spyderco Endura for size reference. Also my hands are a size XL to XXL and pretty beat up from the work I do as an automotive mechanic. What first drew me to the knife was the wave feature for pocket deployment or bottle cap lifter. I noticed that the hollow grind is much finer and thinner than my 187DP. This one came seriously sharp as well it really is a phenomenal slicer for having such thick blade stock. Yes 187 DP is the Vulcan finish. I like it but I have been thinking of forcing some more patina with mustard to make the blade a little darker overall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Really awesome Vulcan finish on these two Drop points @Banks619 . A Micro and a Genesis? The Tanto is a full Praetorian? Kind regards, Chris
Hi @Dingle1911 , I really like the Enyo, carries good, good ergonomics, love the design, but I really cannot say something about the holding up of the coating, because mine never had to do hard work, signs from drawing are very little. Imho it is a really awesome knife, but my daily user is , most times the Izula. Kind regards, Chris
Hi friends, wanted to take this thread back to life, because I am still a big fan of this blades. Hope it is no problem taking the photo from another forum, if it is , please just delete and let me know. Computer dyslexic as I am, I did not know how to manage otherwise, so Sorry! Not too actual, I know, but still my horded Medfords ;-) Another Praetorian Genesis with cool custom engraving on its way. Kind regards, Chris
@balder77: I don't know what is more impressive. Your Medford collection or the implied budget you have available for the same! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Hi Moshe ben David, thank you for your kind words. Collection is grown over years, and depends on both hard work ( every day two hours extra) and saving up the money. Family first ,collection a while after it ! Kind regards, Chris
Thank you for your participation @Spikedog , how do you like the USMC , it is on my must have list ... Think it is a really sexy beast. Kind regards, Chris
