    Nice set

I have only recently begun to appreciate these knives so have not picked one up yet (Stupid reallife bills interfering with the sharps budget...)

Thinking I need either a 187DP or a Praetorian T (full size) to start with.

    No Medfords out there?
    Can´t be ...

Lightnig for real edc-tasks the 187 should be the deal.
If you like it overbuilt, the Praetorian will create a new definition of that...
for sure no slicer, but can handle nearly all you throw it at, chopping down little trees in one cut is possible.
Feels like you can break up an M1 with it... but it is not so heavy, that I don´t like to carry it, in a regular jeanspocket, it is edc-able.

While the T looks like you have stolen the Terminator´s pocket knife,
the G is a little more decent:

I would love to have one but I almost choked when I priced it. They do look awesome though.

    ...and they are Ethos,
for my first I did a big collection-cleanout, think around twenty blades had to leave....
but it was really worth every cent.
And US products are really expensive over here. A Praetorian T costs about 200-300 Bucks more than you pay over there:cry:
Next to I worked overtime, to grab some premiums: a T is about 40 hours extra...
Here a shot of my Micro, which was my first Medford.

I have been impressed with Greg Medford's design. The Praeotrian is beefy yet slim in your pocket. The blade is thick, but still very sharp and slicey.

Yes Dingle1911 , Praetorian is the first folder giving me this feeling of being able to cut a tank into pieces if needed...
    Thank you for sharing!
    Kind regards,
    Chris

These appear to be very robust and built for very rough usage. I'm not interested in acquiring any of them since I do not have a requirement to use a folding knife in that application. For those that own them, do you use them that way or are they objets d'art in your collection?

So and so, my first one, the Micro Praetorian and the T see seldom more than light tasks. But:
    They are screaming for usage...
Just had to test the glassbreaker of my black G Praetorian, cause the wife had locked up baby and keys in the car...
and this one is tested heavy... cause first I am a user, collector at a later time. This knife is with me nearly all work days.
    Love it.
    Todays choice:

    Hi @kdurt ,
    thank you for participating !
    First is a 187DP in a lovely Vulcan finish , isn't it?
But the second? Do not know it, could not find it on the Medford website...
Can you give me some more specs? Perhaps an in hand shot?
    Kind regards,
    Chris
