Yes, Leafstorm. You'll be sad at its price; I know I was.
The Leafstorm is on the discontinued list. If you want it get it now. Don't wait.
I've been on the fence with the Maxmadco. I've gone to his site many times but now that there's a black aluminum one then it's decided. I will be getting one.
Post pictures once you get it!
I just did a pp for the black one. Hope it comes soon and once it does I'll post some pics.
Any pics or opinions yet on the aluminum version?
Hasn't landed in Canuksville yet
I could scratch a beautiful citation with one of those pens...if only I had $85.00 to spend on a writing implement.
I had the money on standby for a month waiting for a stainless version, but the temptation got me elsewhere (Malkoff). Still hope get one someday.
The Black Aluminum arrived yesterday and took pics of it last night. I really wasn't sure how well it would fit in the hand but for me it's the perfect diameter. Also the action on the plunger is very smooth. Very strong clip that I have no fear will bend out of shape. This is a very well made pen. Also the gentleman who makes them, Jim Madrid, is great to work with.
Even the smallest detail is well made.
Not made in China.
A size comparison with a dollar store pen.
If your thinking of getting one, don't hesitate. This has become my favourite pen and I'm sure it will last for years.
^do you have a SS one to compare? How light is it?
Unfortunately I don't have the SS one. Maybe someday. Just weighed it and it comes to 3/4oz (20g).
I have a SS and it's pretty heavy. I normally carry it in my shirt when I'm working but I love a maxmadco for 24/7 carry.........hmmmmm......
Wowee, that looks even better than in Jim's photos!
Also, official weights are on the Maxmadco site.
1.75 ounces/50 grams for SS.
.77 ounces/22 grams for Alu.
What pen do you prefer? I'm looking at both. Thanks
