    Help me choose, I want both, but that would just be wrong... right?

    Side by side of both brands, although not exactly the models that I want...

    Of the Marathon brand, it would be a TSAR and of the Lum-Tec it would be a B4 or similar model. Both are same price range, and both are super sexy.

    Some more pictures...

    I've never owned a Marathon, but I have owned several Lum-Tecs including the B13 and M24. I still own a B3 and a Super Combat B2, so I'm a Lum-Tec fan. But if I was choosing between the two watches you're looking at, I'd choose the TSAR. In my opinion, the hands on the B4-B15 Combats are just too small, especially in the dark. That is the main reason I no longer own a B13.

    Looks like you've hit a nerve with whoever owns the first picture...

    That is just too hilarious. But seriously OP, don't steal pictures without giving credit where it is due.

    Also, I own a Combat B11 from LÜM-TEC. It is the coolest watch I own. I got a nice stainless steel bracelet for it, and it looks great on that as well as on a NATO strap.

    Photos are not free, their owners have copyrights to them....but yeah I didn't understand the nerve thing either. OP = original poster.

    Not that this is at all on topic but as a photographer I understand once a photo hits the web, you might as well not have any rights to it....

    Buut...both watches look BAMF!

    That's incorrect. Many images are copyrighted and require a fee and/or permission from the owner to use. In your case, you hotlinked an image from another website, which is widely discouraged on most internet forums and other websites.

    OP= Original Poster.

    The first picture you posted- you hotlinked it, as I mentioned, from another person's website, which uses his bandwith, which he pays for. This is probably what "irked" him in the first place. Anyway, instead of the image showing up here in this thread, he changed it to a personal written attack aimed at you- which is what I saw when I found this thread. Seems he deleted the picture from his website, which is why nothing is showing for that first picture any longer.

    To avoid confrontations like this in the future, I would save an un-copyrighted image you find on the internet to your harddrive rather than hotlinking.

    Cool, thanks for the info, now I'm sorry I missed the "attack"
    Lulz

    First time I've heard of hotlinking, Must have missed the copyright infringement statement on that one, wow what a dummy I must be :eek:o:

    OP out/

    I recently learned that when it comes to quartz models such as the TSAR, Marathon uses the cheapest movements out there. Cheap, even by quartz standards. I'd go with Lum-Tec
