I found a decent titanium clip in my junk - I believe it was an ill gear brand clip, which seem very similar to mgcizmo but without a stamp.
no knife carry, for games. I had knives, in the bag and AIWB tinkle knife, but this is what I had 'ready' for cutting tasks.
I wouldn't doubt it. considering the work I do and have always done... considering the rough upbringing (no, I wasn't fighting kids in the ghetto, I was shooting off of ramps and crashing wheeled objects) I had, I think I'm already starting to have some issues with my right knee and a few of my fingers.
the pinky on my right hand is always in a half moon shape/position and it doesn't straight unless I physically do so with my other hand.
Hey Lawn man do you do what I do with your keychain keys ie, grind/cut off the fat bits?

Grinding my bits? ouch.
The truck key is 'perf-babied', I just drilled holes in it to make it lighter. I prefer the bulk of the truck key as I grab it, and use it maybe 40+ times a day in a work day.
The house key rarely gets used, so I minimized it by drilling a hole closer to the 'teeth' of the key, and grinding off the top/bulky bits.
I did it with a combination of an old craftsman plug in drill, an angle grinder, a bench grinder, and some sandpapers and files.
I think AndrwTNT did a perfbaby key, as well, But his came out much nicer.
Apes don't have nice things. We break them too often.
Ok gotcha. I prefer the chunky feel too
But I ground them flatter to fit into a key holder thing that I didn't really like.
The 2 car keys I ground the plastic gunk off for that: the Mazda worked great with a full tang. But the spare Honda key - well let's just say I'm glad I have spanner-grip finger tips as I can just barely fit it in the key hole and turn it.

For a real user, or a car/truck key, I'm with ya. Dont minimalize it TOO much or you'll be sorry.
I made spares for my truck, of course, before I tried my perfing.
I like the shackle system. If I had more keys I'd try this out. Luckily I only carry two that I need (may need) every day. House and truck. Plus the goodies from Aslan and vegassprky, and of course a cool guy ti bead, and eng1nerd 's awesome prangler... and the safety pin....
And I call myself a minimalist.
I need to post a pic of my EDC bag I've been rocking. I got tired of my sling bag. LAPG 3 day backpack. Huge, I know! but it rides the most comfortable of my bags and I cannot afford a new backpack right now. Rock what you brought, mentality.
Stored up high for safe keeping
My keys need some work, I use my car valet key because I can't stand the massive electronic fob key,
which means I have to pop the trunk from the inside. And I need to replace my truck key because my
fuel door is getting stiff and I almost twisted the key in two.
And speaking of breaking things... my wireless mouse is dead due to a freaking leaking battery
and I'm having to use the touchpad, I HATE TOUCHPADS.
My keys are some sort of... totem. I keep them tidy and close... I twirl 'em and play with the bead. They have to be 'just right'. Today, adding the small Micra seemed a bit heavy, but the prangler really does a great job of holding it steady above the pocket bottoms.
I've said it before, but I've viewed them as a set of privilege and responsibility. Others kinda see them as chains or shackles to real life things.
Before the forums, it was only keys wallet phone ... Sometimes knife. Never a flashlight.
Now my flashlight is always on me. I tend to carry it at night, to and from the bathroom, even if I don't use it.
Lawn apes have good night vision.

MvL what's up with your avatar pic? Seems to have gone AWOL.
Yeah, I dunno.
a moderator actually put that on there a while back, when they participated in 'fun', as well as the 'pink slippers' thing.
but we're not doing the whole interaction with a personality. Avatars are .... not gear related.
Went for a hike today, that's what the pictures are from. I may be able to load some more up later.
Carried my .38 AIWB first time, ever. It was about a 5k hike, through slightly rough terrain.
I also carried that way when I went into wally world.
I could get used to that.... I really could.
I was very proud of my munchkin (3.8 years old) - she made the whole hike with a small water bottle, some snacks, and a toy in her backpack.
Put some gear in your avatar. Works for me.
I always liked his socks!
Maybe I'll use my muddy ones from a few pages back as my avatar.
Hi, I'm just a pair of worn boots and muddy socks.
Antithetik de Vries - bam
Could be worse.
It's always fun to watch the little ones copy their parents.
And a quote from The Dark Tower belongs here... "There are other worlds than these."
At one point I was touching a gumbo limbo, it has very neat 'bark' that flakes off. Its a cool tactile sensation, and talking about it to kiddo.
She comes up and starts 'petting' it as I was.
We spent a good 2.5 hours 'finding nature', as she says.
Loved those books. I noticed a movie was in the works, but that doesn't leave me with high hopes considering most other King movies are meh.
