Ouch... Missed that one!!
I feel like I'm in the same boat. Assuming I didn't need to pay 5 bucks for lunch I could get by with just my phone, a pen for school, and keys to drive here and to get back in my house never have a need for a knife or light. but hey, I guess edc is about being prepared for any situation so carrying things that I don't use isn't exactly a bad thing
I always thought of Wedding Ring as "clothing." Or maybe "uniform"
I'm starting to think my employer weighs me down too much. I can print these pages out and show them no one else has to carry all this stuff!
UPDATE: I got a PDF version of those books and stored them on my phone. I printed out about 30 pages that I might need in a snap. The hard copies are in my locker. Two pounds off my back!
i carry a lot of stuff because i use a lot of stuff
Glasses, so I can read anything that's closer than arms length.
For work, a photo I.D. badge with R.F. chip so I can get in the crazy place.
Let's see...outside of work I would say just my eye glasses and wedding ring. At work I have to wear a suit. Carry 2 IDs, have a black pen, and something to tell time with. Not bad compared to some of the stuff you all have to lug around.

You forgot your "T" Key. I think that is more important then most the other stuff.
Good idea printing out parts of "The Book" and storing the rest on the electronics. (I had a stripped down "Book" when I was operating, removed all routes I could/would not operate. Cut the weight in half. I also had it trimmed down 1/2" on three sides.) The Book here at rail is smaller than a deck of cards.
Stupid work cell phone. I hate having two phones on me
mobile phone, keys, wallet. asthma inhaler
Just a Proxcard for the office, driver's license, and keys. But I would feel woefully unprepared, so I never do that. lol
just my phone/wallet/keys
i'm a programmer so i don't really require many things but the screwdriver on my SAK and flashlight helps when working on computers in the office. i love carrying my knife, but it's definitely not a necessary item for me
The only thing I am required to have when working is my work ID card.Other than that I have to take my keys so that I can go back into the flat where I live. The rest of my carry is my personal choice.
My work id/swipecard so that I can get in to work and my RSA Securid token so that I can do something useful while I'm there
Cell phone, Wave, keys, and wallet.
There used to be a saying, "Beware of programmers bearing screwdrivers." But this was from when "the computer" was a big box in another room...
Naturally, I always had a screwdriver
For my current job I need to have: wallet with money and driver’s license, keys, glasses, phone. But I carry much more. I’ll post it in my show thread soon, if I remember I’ll link to it here.
As others have said, I also have to carry a work phone, an iPhone. In addition to email, I often need to access certain web sites, and I much prefer the browser on my Android phone so I carry two phones. The IT guy has been trying to promote a BYOD program to save money.
Then there is the RFID access card, work keys, uniform, paper forms, psychrometric instruments, thermal imaging camera and a few other things.
Tappity, tap, tap...
