I have been eyeing the Magpul DAKA pouches, they would be great upgrade for my toiletries/meds kit. One small gripe though is that they are not see through. Are there any similar high quality, clear waterproof pouches? I know there are plenty of cheap vinyl zip pouches, but those never lasted long for me.

Those pouches look nice, but I'm thinking of something welded and waterproof.

I like the Aloksak it's basically a really HD Ziploc bag. They come in multiple sizes and I use three of them when UL backpacking to hold:
    1. A small FAK
    2. My sunscreen, DEET, camp soap, etc.
    3. Maps, back country permits, notebook and mini space pen.

I've been using a Lock and Lock container for my toiletries/meds kit. Waterproof and very rugged.

@Tom Tabal My guess is Orcathane by PENNEL & FLIPO. Based on colours, and being weldable.

As far as an alternative to DAKA pouches... I'm really liking the looks of the new Nite Ize Runoff Pouches (pocket, wallet, and others)!

Please note: I have no actual experience with these and they may be absolute rubbish.
