Does anyone make a single aaa led light thats the same size as a Mag-Lite soliatre?
There is a bunch, Fenix L0p L0d E1
Arc AAA, Peak systems make some too
For about the same price, and better output; get a Fenix E01.
Thanks guys. I am looking for something that will fit in the elastic loops on the side of my Leatherman wave pouch. Sounds like the Fenix is what i need. `
I'm still carrying my Streamlight Microsteam AAA LED until I find something better.
I would Fenix EO1 or a Nextorch k1 or an ITP AO3 or the Stream light Microstream or I also like the Akoray K-102.
Unless a single-mode, forward-clickie equipped light is important to you; consider a Preon I w/ Preon II tailcap. Reverse-clickie, 3 modes (Low-Med.-High), high mode is 70 lumens out the front. (Or 70 actual lumens.)
Can't compete with the SL in terms of price. But if you want something with the power of a full-sized flashlight that will last you for years, there you go.
Exactly. While the E01 isn't as bright (its brightter than the Solitaire) the runtime is pretty good.
That's eaxctly where I carry mine, and even though there are brighter, the EO1 has the greatest run time, so that's why I have it there in the Leatherman pouch for emergencies.
yes ,Fenix E01 isn't as bright ,but now the have release the Fenix LD15 ,and it so bright ,only use 1*AA battery ,and the out put upto 117 lms ,and it can ran 1.5 hours at high use Cree XP-G LED,a good choose for everyone!
Yup, sure is . . . That's why I own the Nitecore EZ AA model that the LD15 is blatantly copied from.
