My wife grabbed 3 of these X Gear, uhh...... Multi-Silverware, I guess you can call them, for me as stocking stuffers at Christmas. They are actually really nice little units. I bring my lunches to work and need silverware so these work out well, as I don't have to hear it about bringing the good silverware to work and losing it.. I rotate through them. I've washed them in the dish washer and by hand and they have held up well. They can be found at Kohl's during the holiday season for dirt cheap.

Any indication of the steel used in the utensils?

Just that it's stainless steel but no indication of the grade.

Still sticked to my own Ti LMF spork.
May be not that handy, but more efective i think.

Usually I take stuff from home but at times I forgot to throw in a fork or a spoon, and using the flimsy plastic stuff in our breakroom doesn't work all the way through the meal. As a backup I keep a K-Bar hobo knife in a pocket of my lunchbag. I wouldn't use a everyday but it's better than the plastic or my fingers.

I have a CRKT Eat n Tool in my backpack and an Atwood Sporkula in my wallet.
Both serve their purpose very well.0

I've got the snowpeak spork and the LMF. What I don't like about the LMF is switching from one side to the other. I get soup or whatever on my hand.

I broke a paint stirring stick in half once and used it like chopsticks.

Whittled "Y" shaped stick = Fork
    EDC knife = Knife
Plastic spoon is the only eating utensil you need to carry.

I have a couple of those plastic sporks from REI, they do the job for me.
