Hello ! I am looking for an M16 flashlight mount (that will hold a Maglite AA or something similar)
I am not looking to spend too much money (Surefire weaponlights), just mount a Maglite AA on the barrel

EDIT: I forgot a remote pressure switch would be required as well I guess. Is there an aftermarket switch for the maglite ?

    Thanks !

Hmm that would do, even though I have no idea what brand is the flashlight

I would urge you to consider other light options. The Maglite AA is very tough but isn't very bright. I'm not aware of a remote switch solution for it, and mounting options will be more limited than for standard weaponlights.

Definitely stick with LEDs. While incans and HIDs have their places in the world, an LED emitter is not going to fail due to recoil. The light might still break, but the emitter won't.

Consider a Streamlight TLR-1 or TLR-3. That's an easy, inexpensive way to get a lot of light on a gun. Streamlight is also very reliable.

Most of the people I know who have weapon-mounted lights use Surefire. Surefire is very reliable and their warranty is fantastic, but there are less expensive options that are brighter. If you need more light than a TLR-1 but don't want to pay for a Surefire, take a look at Fenix lights. They have some well-regarded tactical lights with remote switches and mounts available.

I second the TLR suggestion. I own 8 of them and they are excellent excellent lights for the money, a lot of high speed guys use them on both rifles, pistols, and shotguns. Much better solution than a maglite.

A Surefire G2L with a Viking Tactics mount is a cheap but solid option

Check ATI gunstocks and Leapers for mounting options, not ment for special forces use but for most uses work just fine. I like the ATI 12ga mount, holds up well to recoil.
