    Hi guys,

I'm look for a stout folder similar to the
    -Boker Albatros
    -Spyderco Techno
    -Boker Nano
    -Cold Steel Mini Tuff
    -Boker Subcom

Only catch is I'm looking for one Made in USA (or not made in Taiwan/China). I have a Dragon Fly and a Mini Griptillian and they're great, but not beefy as the others mentioned above.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Zero Tolerance stuff is what I would consider "beefy", and I'm very pleased with my 0200 but it seems you're going for more of a "chubby" look...

One of the toughest small knives out there IMO, is the Cold Steel mini American lawman. It has the tough as nails triad lock, and it's made in the USA.

    Give it a try!

Haha, I have this knife and it's great. But dont let the name fool you (great marketing), it's made in Taiwan.

I am kind of partial to my Buck Strider. I have had it for over 6 years and it still continues to be my #1 EDC work knife. I know that they don't make them anymore, but if you surf around the web you can still find them. Just an FYI, they are kind of spendy.

^. Strider's are tough, yo. SJ75's are sleek too. I think I'd prefer the PT, but yeah

Well, except for the made in USA criteria - and it's a bit hard to be sure these days - I recommend the Benchmade HK 14201 Conspiracy. Priced at about $60, this is a seriously beefy knife. 3.6"x0.18" black coated 9CR13 Stainless Steel blade, 4.7" closed frame lock folder. This is one seriously beefy knife and very sharp out of the box. It's heavy too, at about 6 oz. I don't believe you can go wrong for $60.

+1 on the Three Sisters Forge. I have a B.E.A.S.T. and I absolutely love the thing.

I really like small stout built folders.
