just got a new job at a warehouse and i have alot of stuff in my pockets, been carrying a utilitac 2 but its getting a bit big and bulky, im looking to get something thinner and lighter but still sized enough to be comfortiable, id say the 3ish blade size, i still use my knife frequently, cause i find that its more useful then the box cutters for alot of tasks. any suggestions?
Cryo stinks, really just awful. http://www.everydaycommentary.com/2012/08/kershaw-cryo-review.html Go with a Skyline at that price point.
+1 on the skyline, although there's alot of choices that feel smaller, i got my skyline at walmart for $35, but that was a good deal. i also suggest a SOG twitch II - sweet little knife that doesn't take up too much space. if you got a few bucks to spend, a benchmade 940 feels gives you alot of blade but feels small and light in the pocket, and the BM 530 is so small you'll forget it's there.
i got enough money to buy something expensive but im leaning more towards cheap because with what i use my knives for and how often i use them it isnt worth spending alot, especially since i can sharpen them anytime i need too.
"steel turd" is what he coins the Cryo...ouchy ouch! What a drag that this knife does not live up to the lofty expectations or it's ZT cousins.
...Er.....what about the benchmade grip your girl friend bought you or the seb your mom bought you? O-o (Sigh) here we go again http://www.edcforums.com/threads/new-edc.96941/
What about a Kershaw Shallot? It looks tough and like a good knife in general. Dont tell anybody, but I've actually thrown mine!
How about your review of the Skyline on Amazon? You probably remember what you paid 4 months ago. http://www.amazon.com/review/R3OD93ZHBZSNP9 Or your thoughts over at BF? http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/943262-I-think-the-Kershaw-Skyline-is-the-greatest-folding-knife-in-the-world?s=e116613eaeff5d09cb69fd63e581bdee&p=10716783#post10716783 I hate adding to cross-forum drama but I have to agree with Djjonny. This thread-cycle just goes around in circles ad nauseum.
