I agree with your opinion.
TSAR really is a good watch for the buck.
I just ordered a Luminox because of this thread
$199 from Amazon shipped free overnight. Love it!
Check out new offerings from Deep Blue, 99$ for tritium watch.
Smith & Wesson Magnum Tritium H3
Thanks for the link. I've ordered one.
You'll be glad you did!
Watch arrived Saturday. Quit working on Sunday. Will be calling Deep Blue on Monday.
What happened? Let us know about Deep Blue response.
Thanks, I found out about DB because of this thread. Picked up a OPS model. Great watch, best value for a tritium dive watch I found so far.
Built like a tank. There's also a non-chronograph version if this one's a bit too cluttered for you. Sapphire crystal, lumed numbers, trits on all the hands, <$200, a lot of watch for the money. Only nitpick I have is that on the chronograph version the large second hand is only used for the chronograph function, not normal time-keeping.
Suspected bad battery. DB response has been amazing. DB was very apologetic and said that they've shipped 800+ watches without this problem. I was promised an immediate exchange, a refund of my shipping, and a little token for my trouble. DB emailed me the return instructions literally before I got off the phone. Email and phone messages were very promptly attended to. Every manufacturer has an issue sooner or later - the important factor to me is how they respond. So far I don't think DB could do much better. And FWIW my wife really likes the watch too; she usually doesn't care about this sort of stuff.
That pic is not an exageration. The T100 trit tubes really do glow. I have the same watch in PVD and often wear it to bed. With dark adapted vision, it can actually be a little annoying- but I love it.
Nice watch, and a wicked photo!
Thanks, I'm so glad I found this thread. I was close to ordering a GSar from Countycomm for 3 times the price and 1/4 the brightness when I stumbled across this thread and changed my mind.
Not sure if anyone mentioned this already, but I have a yellow Prometheus Jellyfish which is just absolutely awesome, especially for the price.
I picked up a Praetorian Signifier last year, and it's still getting a LOT of wrist time.
Looks like this at night:
Awesome, glad to hear. Ordered it as well and was scared by your initial post. =)
Look forward to it. How long did it take to receive after order?
