yea i agree with bravo kilo ......lum tec seems to be the watch of watches...nice looks, real well made,,all the options anyone could ask for. plus they are priced nicely and only made in limited quanity...what more could you want
I have a G-Shock GW-7900B1 which measures: H x W x D = 52.4 x 50.0 x 17.7 mm / 71.0g It's a pretty large watch as far as G's go (7900 series) and certainly has some wrist presence: I also have a Suunto Core which has a case size of approx 50mm (on the right in the below pic): You could also take a look at Seiko - specifically the Seiko SKZ255 which has a 47mm case dia and weighs 200g:
big watch you say? you could always go for one of the 55mm WWII German fighter bomber replicas they also come in smaller 40-47mm sizes by some companies EDIT - oh nm, you said digital
Granted I think that is probably on a pretty small wrist. I've seen other people wear it where it's not SO ginormous looking. They were originally meant to be worn on the outside of flight jackets like so but some people like their watches as big as they can get. The 42mm size is pretty much perfect though imo.
If you have the coin, Bell & Ross watches are both big and gorgeous. Not many people have upwards of $3K to spend on a watch, though.
You might want to look at the PAG40 models of the Casio Pathfinder series... They're pretty large: Size of case/total weight PAG40 = 57mm x 53.8mm x 17.9mm @ 74g
I have had this watch for about 10 years and still love it. It may not be a Timex but it sure takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
I don't know a great deal about watches in general or the Invicta brand in particular, but there is an interesting looking one on Woot.com today only (7/17) Invicta Corduba Collection Oversized Chronograph Watch $59.99. Case diamter is stated to be 55mm or >2".
