Ugh...you're going to make me look, aren't you?

Iv8888 had videos on a couple that made some nice claims. That being said, the only one I actually remember off the top of my head msrps for almost a grand. So, screw that.

I'll probably end up with a revolution 9.

I'm also starting to wonder if you can get the upcoming scorpion carbine with the silencerco faux suppressor, then buy baffles and eform 1 it....since that would only require one stamp and won't involve the restrictions on transporting a SBR. Unless I'm wrong. Which u probably am thanks to the law.

    Not that I know of.

But the fake suppressor is made by silencerco.

Unless I'm just imagining it wrong, it seems like it would be simplest if they just removed the baffles from one of their suppressors and pinned & welded it onto the barrel.

Considering that somebody (I think Sig) got in trouble for mounting a baffle stack without a tube a year or so ago, this might be what they're doing to try and gain atf approval.

Yup. It was Sig with the MPX.
It would certainly be nice. Not sure how they'd get past the ATF though, if the fake suppressor was easily convertible.

Any tube the right diameter with threads on the ends is easily convertible.

Silencers....it's tough to make one that competes with the best. But, the more I learn about them, the more I wonder how they're successfully regulated. At their most basic, they're not /that/ complicated (outside of the booster to make them work with tilting barrels). It's basically just a tube with chambers that allow the gas to cool and slow down so it doesn't all escape the muzzle at once.

    I just increased my EDC.
With usually full pockets, I was wondering about how to carry my Skeletool.
Well, I realized I'd picked up a couple of ex-German Politzi P6 leather mag carriers, a few years ago.
And whadaya know... Perfect fit for a Skeletool !! Yay.
Pics to follow when I get a chance. Dan has Scouts tonight.

So... Here's the Skeletal and the P6 Mag pouch. Perfect fit, with the clip on the outside. Very strong construction, as it's German lol.
The belt loop is riveted. These can still be found in a lot of surplus stores, and many gun stores, after the glut of P6's that were imported about five years ago.

Picked up an odd piece of history today, while perusing my favorite Pawn Shop.
In pirate culture, the vaunted "Pieces of Eight."
    A Mexican 8 Reales, from 1791.
Although nowhere near mint condition, what caught my eye, on the obverse side seems to be scratched the outline of a Sperm Whale.
It instantly reminded me of Queequeg, signing his mark in Moby Dick.

I make sure some folks are where they're supposed to be, and not getting themselves into trouble.
I think I've posted about it in here somewhere.
We serve a lot of violent offenders, who've been given a second chance, due to severe mental health issues.
