Here's a quick pic of our three pooches. Two are rescues ( the rotty mix in the foreground and the black lab barely visible in the background ) and one we got from an acquaintance as a pup ( the chihuahua mix ). They are our Three Stooges...making us laugh and smile on a daily basis.
Sorry to hear about your and Achille's loss. I have had dogs almost my whole life and know all too well what losing one feels like. You have my condolences.
This is Trooper, my 3 YO German Shorthaird Pointer. He is a hand full but he is my homeboy. Great dog. Goes to work with me just about every day so we are together all the time. He's my little shadow. Has a little bit of separation anxiety and a lot a bit of energy. He'd be a great therapy dog candidate, as he is the most gentle dog and is so good around people. I get more comments on him than I do my kids (and they're way cuter)! He's a good buddy! This last pic is a bad one bud shows his new paracord collar I just made him. He looks good in paracord! - CHAD
mbakes, very sorry to read of your loss of Denver. When Calvin had to say good by to his sister Harlee back in June 2012. One of the members on another board place this poem on Harlee's photo. I hope Achille's OK! Calvin had an extremely hard time. Although it's been over a year now, I can tell he still misses his big sister.
Thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure Achilles gets it yet, which I guess is a good thing. Great poem!
Anybody read this story? Baltimore police officer got a call about a "vicious" pit-bull and this is what happened next
Pointers are so gentle around everything. Love mine, have never had to worry about her around anything. Here she is caught napping with the kittens my wife brought home Animal Pile by Mud80, on Flickr
It's my opinion that this post is inappropriately placed in a thread about "our" pets. If you feel the need to make a statement in regards to a certain breed, this should be done in it's own thread.
I am much more of a dog person than a cat person, but this might just be the cutest darned thing I've seen in awhile.
One of the first pics I ever took of my Smokey. On Aug. 23 he'll have been with me for 6 years. On July 23 of 2007 I had to have my buddy of 15 years, a black cat named Simon, put to sleep. This guy chose me one month later.
It wasn't a statement about a breed as much as a recent story that I thought people in here may like to read. Sorry if I offended anyone...
If you look carefully in the background you can see our wild-ling 'fluffy'. She jumped our fence one day as a wet, cold, lost kitten, decided the food we were givin out was allright, 3 years later here we are.
