The small metal box slides to open and measures 60x34x11mm.

This is a very interesting topic. Thanks for starting it, Brtsmpsn! Here's my minimal carry. In a pinch, I can get a little extra light from the indiglo feature on the watch.

    • Gauze
    • A baggy containing two single-use ultra thin gloves and a pointy wooden stick (bigger / thicker than a toothpick, the ideal tool for removing tight o-rings)
    • Safety mirror (the scratches are on the removable cover, under the cover it's perfectly clear)
    • Magnifying card (3x)
    • A rite-in-the-rain sheet of paper
    • ~1 meter of tape, rolled on a plastic sheet
    • 3M stitches, two paperclips, safety pin
    • 2 + 2 bandaids
    • 2 x iodine pads
    • 1 x sting relief pad
    • 1 x triple antibiotic ointment
    [IMG]

...and the very small wallet that holds them all (plus money and two cashcards). So, if I wear pants, all of them are with me :D

Thanks Dubbs. I was at home one night setting up a small set just for around the house and thought what do I want to have with me no matter what, so I started a thread to capture it all. :)

That's for posting this. I am going to copy it if you don't mind.
I hold my micro FAK in a dollar store cigarette case but don't like the hard shell in my pocket. How durable is the Big Skinny?

Feel free to replicate all you want, I'm glad you find it useful. :)

I'm using the Big Skinny on the picture in a front pocket (also carrying loose coins) for five years, it's very durable. My first try for a thin wallet was with a Tyvec "paper" wallet, it also worked fine but after a few months use it became really scratched and ugly.

This is the most minimal setup I will use when its shorts weather (soon!), SAK Manager, 4Sevens Atom and a titanium capsule.
Manager: Small blade, Phillips and flat head drivers, cap lifter, wire stripper, File, Scissors, Pressurized pen
    Two mode AAA flood light
Two magnets - in bottom of Atom and on Phillips head tool
Clip can be used to pry
In the capsule there's cash, comfort meds (acetaminophen, Dramamine, Imodium, Benadryl, ASA), etymotic ear plugs
Everything weighs less than 100 gm
