Just traded slivver71 my black litespeed for his coyote brown and then did a little modifications to the color! Plan on using the litespeed for Daily carry and the EDC for laptop days with work and when I need the extra space. [IMG]

I would totally buy a dispatch if only they put cobra buckles on the side like the meridian. I feel like for 200 it should have them. Maybe I'm just picky.

My Litespeed on a hike with me today. I'm constantly playing with different ways of running bungee around the front. Having it around the beavertail let me keep a lightweight waterproof shell quickly accessible and not fall free when I needed to unclip the tail and access the contents.

Plastic cobra buckles, maybe. I had an ITS Discreet Messenger bag for about a week, it had very cool looking metal cobra buckles. Drove me insane. Why? Unless you constantly adjust the length of the closure straps to keep the buckles pulled tight, they jingle. Loudly. Such a stupid design Imo. I do think maybe larger buckles on the dispatch could be more proportionate but overall its a pretty nice bag.

I noticed TAD have a new messenger bag on their site, seems very plain and very expensive. I only looked at it briefly but didn't get the point of it, but I didn't look closely.

Yeah I really liked the dispatch for the week or so I tried it but I was short on space for my needs.

The new parallax looks to be a very nice bag with great cloth and innovative buckles and aims to be less tactical and much larger, but like you said, the price seems to be a bit to steep when expecting people to also buy organizational pieces to make the bag work for them.

Personally I have found I just love their litespeed for daily use and hope they do a new pack that is less tactical and possibly use the new xpac material for weatherproofing and maybe more organization. Messengers are just not my thing. With that said I like that the parallax can be a sling bag with a stabilizer strap.

Are we ever going to see a waist belt for the litespeed?!?! Also, has anyone added the new TAD admin panel, to the control panel, on the inside? I'm intrigued by this.. Also, has anyone used the transport cubes yet? I'm interested for a few camera lenses as they have shown..

I've been waiting on this too. Somebody posted somewhere (sorry I don't recall where) that they called TAD to inquire about the development of a waist belt and received a very gruff response from an irritated person that it was not going to happen and to stop asking about it. This is just hearsay of course, so take it for what it is. I've about given up hope.

If so many people are asking for it, maybe they should take the hint.

Maybe I am the only one, but I don't feel the Litespeed needs a belt. I have added a belt to my V1 and it works pretty well since the pack is so long, but the V2 (IMHO) rides too high to warrant adding a belt. I was under the impression it was designed to not be in the way if a load bearing belt was used in conjunction with it. I might be wrong, though. I seldom carry enough weight in a Litespeed to warrant it, but I can see if you are carrying heavy stuff where it might be useful.

That being said, there are lots of aftermarket options for a belt that will work with it, if you want one.

If any one is looking for a waist belt option for the LS, I found the kifaru omni belt to be perfect. It stabilizes the pack to the point that I could run at a fast pace with the pack on my back and the pack was very stable and stayed put.
