Surefire G2, zipped pouch, GPS and keys are taken on a need-to basis, not permanently carried. Likewise for gun (S&W .357 inox J-frame, and Surefire C2). Prescription and sun glasses are permanent, digital camera is often carried in a yet-another-black neoprene pouch.
The pouch was from a stowable Palm III keyboard. Slim black neoprene, so it's quite flexible. I can fit in lots of gear, if needed, such as the knife, the surefire and the utility (tools) keyring, while still carrying all its usual load. Anyway, it was a forum idea, from other users, having a pouch to carry spares and secondary stuff.
I recently discovered Moleskine notebooks...I'll soon have three different models. I like the idea of using it as a wallet, hadn't thought of that. O0
I just carry my ID, ATM and VISA cards in there, on the back. Car documents if needed. Cash on the last page. Keeps me from collecting trash on a regular wallet...
