My first Leatherman was also a PST, dated 0400, according to the date stamp on the inside. I noticed it in the hands of one of the husbands at a weekender 22+ years ago in which we were knocking about in the woods while the wives were up to something at which we were excluded (nothing naughty!). I was, to say the least, intrigued, and asked to examine it up close. It was the first multitool I ever laid eyes on, and was much captivated by the thought of a full sized tool multitool with all the trimmings that could fit in a pocket. ASAP, when I got home it was just about the first thing I acquired, and was quite happy with it for a time. Eventually, however, Leatherman came out with something similar, but loaded with even more implements, so I bought that and passed the PST to my son, an artisan who abused it something awful. That gave me the opportunity to send it to Leatherman for a refresh, and it came back two weeks later in like new condition. By that time, my son had settled on something else, so I got to keep it. So, I like the company, the service and the tool, which has resided in my tool drawer ever since, a keepsake of my first multi-tool, and the only one of a dozen or so the has any sentimental value.

Grazie Nick4305, molto gentile. All those pictured were acquired before the pandemic. It seems over the last year or so prices for Leatherman MiniTools have gone up significantly from what I recall. The two black MiniTools in my inventory were bought via eBay some years back.
The Free P2 is still my EDC. Today I gave the blade side a quick detail strip and clean. It was starting to pick up some rust spots.
I finally got around to modifying my Surge. I swapped out the scissors with a pair from my SAK. And then my Mini-Ratchet arrived. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have multiple LM Waves, but the one thing that Vic does better is the scissors. I really should try this sometime.
This project was much easier than I expected once I got the Carbide Burr Set that he recommended. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
