I can see why. They're both beautifully done and the colors are lovely. I was wondering, what does the inside of the case look like? I kinda want to try and make something like that. It's beautiful!

GiraffeHooves I will try to take some pics of it tomorrow for you. The main compartment is just the flesh side of the leather. There are a couple of pockets, but a good learning experience none the less.

Thank you. I tried to make something kind of like that, but it was no where as neat as yours. Very good job on it.

made another pocket holster and used some leather dye on this one . It turned out better than i thought and not completely finished still needs a logo pressed in and the holster has to be molded for the right shape to the leg for the right pocket fit . This one fits a Kimber Micro .

Photos have to be linked from a third party hosting site. From http://www.edcforums.com/threads/member-rules-read-before-posting.46275/:

The rule's explanation is a little confusing for those of us who aren't code-savvy, but directly pasting an image into a post qualifies as hot-linking. Here are some threads on how to post images:

Or use the Tapatalk app from your mobile device- much easier process, although the photo quality will not be quite as good. I use this method 90% of the time unless I want a high quality photo for everyone to see.

If you insist! =) Made it for a "cosplay" costume party.

I haven't even added up the time! The "jacket" shirt and jetpack I made in a couple hours the day of, but the helmet took a whole bunch of prep & execution / improvisation.

I started with a "papercraft" template for the helmet, and modified it as I went. I'd estimate prob 20 hours ? Yeesh.

Total buttons I used were only 19 (they're all functional), but I'm thinking I should've used 17 (one less vertical row at the bottom) - see how it goes below my waist line? I may remedy that.

Thank you all! I'm just glad others appreciate the movie as much as I do. It's one of my all-time favorites, and I watched it at least 3 times while creating!

Here's a shot of the inside.. a little tricky for all the connections. Had to set the top rivets using the very top of my Arbor press gearing.
