I only take notes and I only recently started enjoying that. I have found mixing two nearly lost arts are actually very enjoyable. Leatherwork and writing by hand.

Come back and check in after #3, writing with a fountain pen. You'll be hooked. =)

My ex, upon asking to borrow my pen (Kaweco AL Sport), immediately turned it away as if it was witchcraft. LOL

Yes I use a Kaweco from time to time, love fountain pen writing. At work I use the cheap Preppy pens, since one could disappear at anytime.

Kaweco stays in the bag unless copious writing is to ensue. I typically use my copper'd F-701 or a sharpie pen for daily use, more easily replaced.

I like that strap, but I'm more interested in the one on your wrist. Duck canvas?

I keep meaning to attempt to work with some, I just haven't gotten around to it.

    Well Crew,

I can't reply still for some reason but the strap on my wrist is made from vintage US military canvas. It is leather lined with a leather keeper.

    Holster rig in progress..

Starting in on some Christmas gifts.. got a half of Hermann Oak, and it was worth every penny.

Really takes a great stamp, nice and even.

Awesome!! Not just a set, but an older set, judging by the logo. Well done!

It's actually a result of randomly mixing these three ingredients.

I dyed it twice with light brown Fiebings, then i burnished it with colorless leather fat. The fat darkened it pretty uevenly and i was not too happy about it but after giving it another burnish with fiebings leather sheen it looked quite ok and rustic.
