To properly assess pupils, you should shine the light from the side, rather than directly into the patients' eyes. I agree it IS bright, but in some of our rooms we can't fully turn the lights down and the little hospital-supplied pen lights can't always provide enough light.
lol i used my h1r to light up my workspace behind my fireplace.. id show you a picture, but i put everything back together and now its trapped inside.. guess ill go fish it out one day soon.
Yeah I had to change out the third brake light in my son's 2011 Malibu the other day and left my Fenix e12 in the darkest reaches of the project. I took that one back apart to retrieve it. Thankfully I had not buttoned it all back up yet, the light was still on...
Walking through a dark garage last nite to get to the light switch... used my Nitecore Tube. L'chaim! Moshe ben David
My EDC flashlight helped me to unlock (tight fit key) the battery pack of my wifes e-bike for charging.
Let the pooch out, first I saw a Flying squirrel go from one pine to another about 30 feet apart, then a few minutes later had a smallish black bear checking out my pooch a loud yell and a 15k lumen blast later he decided to head back for the woods!
I was leaving a New Year's Eve concert I performed in tonight. My parents and I were going down a stone stairway that was not well lit. I pulled out my Zebra H53c which did a nice job of illuminating the steps. The beam was wide enough to light things up for most of the people around us too.
Lower level/family room. All lights were turned off and I hate it when I trip over something... L'chaim! Moshe ben David
As it happens, I just upgraded my "always on my desk" oldish 2C MAG-LITE (put on a glass lens and a nice bright 3rd party Cree LED). Along comes my grandson asking for help finding lost toy. Great to help him out with my upgraded flashlight! Note: He "borrowed" my light and I had to chase it down latter that night; poor kid loses every flashlight I give him!
I hide dog biscuits and have my dog search for them. I used a Pelican 1920 2AAA penlight to look in a dark closet and behind a chair to see if he found the biscuits tonight.
Cleaning up after my dog. You can guess what I illuminated. In winter this is probably the main use of my flashlight.
Olight MX1 Striker, lit up the back of the engine bay (from the right-hand side) of a Land Rover Discovery 300TDI, as we prepared to lift out the engine
Used one light to find another in the dark. Wanted my headlight, but the wife removed it from its usual place. Had to search around the room.
I love my Jetbeam Jet-U AAA flashlight. It's so very slender and deep pocket carries. Whipped it out to help locate a USB and HDMI ports on a TV this weekend. The big clumsy flashlight my friends had on hand was just not cutting it. The little Jet-U did the trick. Got a few questions about where I got it.
