Does anyone have a good title for the tutorial?
"Crown and wall variation" is accurate but doesn't sound right.
Coiffer knot. Coiffer (pronounced [ kwa-fœr ] ) is another name for 'barber', and the crown and wall variation in two colors resembles the barber pole knot...
I googled and saw that "barber pole knot" is on youtube with a completely different way of tying.
I do like the plain name "Barber" rather than the French translation. Thanks for the suggestion. Tony
I posted this question on several forums.
"Candy Cane" has been suggested the most often with "Barber Pole" a close second.
Other names mentioned more than once were "Twist" and "Helix"
I am going with the name "Candy Cane Twist"
