Paracord Shoulder Lanyards... these are to be used with Rangefinders, but can be used for other items as well. They go around your neck, over one shoulder and hang about waist height:

Ya, I especially like the type one over the top, that real adds something special to it.

I uploaded a YouTube video tutorial for tying a two-peg spool knit paracord lanyard. The two-peg spool knit can be found in 'The Ashley Book of Knots' as #2878, a Square Loop Sinnet, along with other variations. :)

Whoops, wrong place. Was supposed to post this in the other paracord thread.

Saw one of these rattlesnake lanyards here earlier and had to try one. It was supposed to be twice as long as it is, but I underestimated how much paracord was needed. It's funnyhow 4 simple knots next to each other can make something so cool. Sorry for the bad pictures :(

Tornado, JacktheClipper is the paracord rattlesnake master. He's a really nice guy. If you have specific technical questions, you shouldn't hesitate to PM him.

Thanks for the info. Will do if needed. There are many excellent threads around here with hundreds of pages in many of them. It will take me forever to go through them. The amount of skill and knowledge is just incredible. Atleast I now know what to do when becoming bored. Hit the forums!

No more than ten pages a day or you'll go blind.

A little sloppy, but Dad really liked it...

I can see where this could get addictive... I'm going to need a LOT more paracord... :frantic:

2 of my many paracord camera shoulder straps. Done early on, as can be seen by the way I've ended the straps. It's ugly, but they work well so haven't felt the need to redo the ends properly.

My paracord camera shoulder straps, the second try. A dear friend told me after he saw the pics never to post camera strap pics without a camera attached to them, so here's my second try. Luckily my new flashes arrived today so I can finally start taking better quality pics of stuff.

My paracord camera wrist straps. Super simple design, just a snake knot weave with a big loop at the beginning and the working end tied to the loop. I've tried many designs, but this one is my favourite so far. Always looking for a better design of course :).

I'm no photographer (nor do I even own a camera that isn't part of my phone), but here are a couple lanyards I put together this week for family members.

I guess it could be considered a type of "lanyard", so here's the sling I made for my shotgun.

I also have a second one planned for my hunting rifle, but utilizing a basket weave and a section of nylon webbing to make it adjustable.

    Very cool.

I swear, the more mini- and micro-cord I see, the more I want to try using some...

Yeah it's great stuff... I was turned onto it by seeing Stormdrane's work years ago. I've been using it myself for years quite a few years now for various projects. Great for neck and eyeglass lanyards, or as an addon/accent to projects braided with 550 cord.

A good source is Survival Pax, as they have a wide array of colors and are very affordable.
