Lanyards galore! Post questions, designs, pics, etc. - Part 1
I had my two little girls while my wife had a girls night out last night and was looking up some simple lanyard designs and after a few hours messing up I was able to make my first lanyard. I decided that I really need the knot book, the people on youtube go way too fast for me

Looks great. I really enjoy making lanyards because it gives me an excuse to buy more knives to attach them to!
Simple paracord loop wrist lanyard with doubled wall knot, carved wooden bead, and cord lock with Gaucho knot, on a Camillus rigging knife...
Completed this dog leash the other week. Starting another for a family member. Anyone have any other styles / braids to recommend?

Made a lanyard with one of the Edelrid carabiners. Charcoal grey and stainless, looks pretty nice. Got the stainless steel Prym cordloc today.
Lovely - you got any links for that fancy hardware?
I like making dog leads, here's some of mine...
For a German friend (only to find out the yellow should have been Gold!)
A 10 foot horse lead rope
These two went to UK and USA LEO K9 handlers
Shorter with matching ketfob
8 cord braid
I really must get a dog!
Thanks. Got the cordlocs on Ebay (Germany), same with the Edelrid carabiner.
What is the name of this?
It is called a box knot, here is a link..
My Gator leash .
And a close up of the splice ...
Just a laynard I made for a buddy of mine's key chain. Simple laynard knot on the end with some small skulls and copper. Took 5 minutes to make but thought it looked kinda neat.
That splice is perfect!
I'm about to make my 3rd dog lead, do you have a guide/tutorial for that please?
My splices never look like this! Amazing work.
I actually posted a tutorial of the splice I call ' The Fakesplice ' on KHWW a while back ...
Jack is the Splice master!!
Knotted horseshoe nail cross with loop of paracord for lanyard/fob duty...
