Here is a bracelet I made for my wifes medical ID tag. I have since changed it to a plastic clip instead of the snaps (wasnt to happy with the snap).

I was cleaning out a desk drawer and found an old shoulder strap for some small case that I never used. Noticed that it had these nice swivel hooks and thought there must be something I can do with them. Put one on a cobra weave fob in 450 cord and I think it turned out alright. May give it a try on my keys.

Couldn't even wait 24 hours before using the other hook. This is ACU 450, slightly longer weave, with a small steel hex nut at the end. Gives it a little more sting in the tail, so to speak.

I tried on a longer weave (5" or so) to put in multiple nuts but they didn't sit as nicely in the middle as the one at the top does. Couldn't get it as even and snug as I wanted. Maybe there's a way to remedy that, perhaps by using a different shaped item. I'm still fiddling with it.

    Thanks guys. :)

I did a lot of knot work when I was a kid in the Boy Scouts, and picked it back up as a hobby in 2004. It's an addictive hobby and I found it easier to quit smoking cigars for a year, when I can't go more than a week or two without having to knot something together.
