Nice. Where do you get the brass beads? I've searched everywhere for nice metal beads for lanyards and can't seem to find any other than the pricey custom ones from Hinderer, Atwood (ordered 2 bronze ones...), etc.

Check the plumbing section in the hardware store. They look like compression fittings. They're pretty popular around here!

I found a few similar things in 4mm on ebay over here... not sure what they would fit over though.

    That's a heavy fob, and I'm digging it. Kinda works like a mini-sap, I would think? ;)

I've got it from local market in Thailand. I afraid that they are not available on web.

Ah, that's a shame. I'm having difficulties finding metal beads that you can fit two strands of ungutted paracord through :/

I make dog collars mostly using the cobra knot and I am having a hard time finishing the ends when I am done. I use a woodburning tool to finish the ends now but was wondering if anyone knew of a better way to finish off knots to make a stronger more pleasing look.

    Thanks

Use hemostats to pull/tuck the cord under a couple of knots at the finish end of the collar.
