Hi guys, I want to show you two of my EDC backpacks. Both of them where made by Israeli equipment company named Sarma. This model named Kotomka and both actually are prototypes.
    But I really like them.

Packs have same laptop/tablet compartment, main compartment. But green pack has no pockets on the front, so the organizer located in the main compartment. Another pack has organizer in the upper pocket.

    Now just pics:

Nice looking bags. Are these produced for the IDF or are they to be for consumers also?

Yeah, they look good. Do you have any idea of the carrying capacity of each?

They produced for everybody. You can even ask for some customization.
You can see different modifications of Kotomka at Sarma facebook.

The capacity of green one is about 15L + 3L hydration compartment. Another one has the same capacity, plus two large pockets at front.

Very nice. From your pictures, I guess the Tavor has not made it to the reserves units yet

It depends on the unit. I am only radio operator, that's why we have simple m4 even without collimator sight :(

    Cool packs.

The tan one looks like something Tactical Assault Gear would make. And the green one looks like a smaller version of Camelbak's Mil-Tac HAWG.. :)

I like the compactness of the green pack, very handy and easy to lug around for everyday urban use. Question is, being Israeli made there maybe restrictions in importing this, specially that the IDF is very protective of its military image. Great pics though specially the equipment tagged with the bag.

Its custom production, not .gov purchase. No problems with import.

It's not an official IDF equipment, I just used it as my private bag during my reserve duty.
