SanRenMu 704. Cheap beater, but much better built than I expected. Got a 708 later and it was nowhere near this nice.
580/5 Barrage Not my knife or pic. I wish I could remember where I found this one so I could properly credit the photographer...
Anybody have a picture of a disassembled Rexford RUT? Recently I've just been really interested in them.
It's not that complicated really. Just a cut out the size of the blade, and a tension bar that goes into the slot. I've seen some pictures of the RUTs before assembly but I can't find them anymore
Want to post this in here to bump up this thread. I enjoy seeing and taking apart knives for cleaning and just appreciate different lock engineering. Lets keep this one going I know a lot of you must take yours apart too. Here is a Kershaw Strobe taken down, nice budget ball bearing flipper
This is my latest acquisition, a District 9 flipper from District 9 (Same designer as the District 9 A and B flippers from Reate) S35VN blade, ceramic bearings, TC4 Titanium scales. Not my pic here as I did not have my camera available when I took mine apart to clean and lube it.
Wow, how I haven't seen this thread before? I just disassembled, cleaned and modded a bit my Benchmade 940, I'll post pics later id I won't forget or be too lazy .
All removeable and a frustrating experience to keep all 6 lined up together when reassembling, there's no movement when it's assembled but they kind of flop around a bit getting all 6 lined up.
