Last nights dump for my stepsons bachelor party! Whiskey bar and bonfire afterwards. A great time!
Day off dump.
Been gone way too long! Still working crazy amounts of overtime and married my step son off, but I'm back now. I'm at Texas A&M this week for fire and rescue. I'll try and get some pictures up of my "working EDC" later.
Behold the glory of chicken fried bacon!
Live action shot from rescue.
Rescue EDC. This Emerson has been through fire and rescue for 6 seasons and it keeps ticking.
Photos from A&M fire school.
A few more from rescue.
Wow! That looks like a pretty wicked rescue stage.
Thanks! It was. It was a 3 level parking garage that was collapsed. We had 3 victims un accounted for. The instructor made us repel down from the top and enter through a hole that had been cut in the collapsed roof. We had to enter a second cut out on the next level to access our patients. One was somewhat ambulatory, so they were able to assist us getting them back to the opening. We made a hasty harness for them and the haul team raised them up and out. Our other patient was on the far side of the collapsed structure with a back injury. They were dead weight and we had to physically carry them back to the access point. It was pretty intense training. The fire training was separate. We did both for 2 days.
Neck knife from JB knife and tool. 3/16" 1095 carbon steel, hand made blue jean micarta handle, hand made mosaic pin, convex edge.
Isn't that a cool little nub of a knife!! you could use it as a pocket or neck knife with no trouble.
Yes sir! Already set up for neck carry!
Work load out.
