My key fob has a button that flips out a key for the ignition. There is a button for locks and horn. I am forever accidentally unlocking my truck or setting off the horn accidentally with the fob in a pocket. Short of a hard glasses case is there a better way to carry a fob like this? Is there a belt case for this?
This may not be what you would want to do, but I carry my keys (and two key fobs) hanging off belt loop of pants. There are various ways you can do it. When dressed up I'm usually either carrying a soft brief case or traveling and don't need my keys, and I put then away in the bag or leave in my duffel.
I have tried carrying them off a belt loop. In doing things i have leaned up against something and hit those buttons. I need a small hard case they will fit in that will attach to my belt. Never felt secure with leaving them in a bag. If the bag dissapears then these expensive keys are gone and I'm stranded. I tried a soft phone type case and still set off those buttons. I have a talent for it. It takes very little to depress those buttons.

Thanks for tips. I will look into these suggestions. What amazes me is that i can be a pretty good distance away in another building and still set it off. For today I am using a GI issue compass pouch with a thick cardboard insert. Both keys fit in it. Those buttons cant be depressed in that very easily but with me it could still be possible.
My Infinit Key fob was constantly setting off my alarm. It got to the point took the key apart and removed the panic button on the board.

Could you post a picture of the fob or a link to a picture of a similar fob? One possible option would be to use sugru or another material to build a lip around the buttons to make them harder to accidentally activate.
Yeah, i did quite the same with black Loctite Kintsuglue on a TV IRC of a really old neighbour (she was always shifting from TV to AV1 or AV2 or HDMI, and asking me to reset the TV, dozen times ...
I'd never heard of Kintsuglue before. Apparently, it just came out early this year and seems to be a pretty blatant copy of Sugru. Loctite has the distribution to flood the market with this product. Between this and Sugru's recent abysmal stock performance, I think this could be the end of Sugru.
