I can't wait to weigh my keys but my little scale is still at our old house. We haven't moved everything into our new house yet. We're about 90% moved. As soon as I bring my scale over I'm going to weigh my keys just to see the weight.

I weighed mine maybe 6 months ago. 6 keys, electronic car fob, Vic Classic, Fenix E01 (alkaline battery), Micro Widgy, and a mini crescent wrench (not really for use but I've used it a couple times). All this was on a standard split ring, with one key attached by a 1 3/8" quick link. Weight: 145.5g or 5.1 oz.

I thought that might be too heavy for my car's ignition so I removed a few of the keys that don't get used regularly. That turned out to be inconvenient so I'm looking for solutions. Currently I'm at 2 split rings connected with a small caribiner. It makes the collection too long. Sometimes I leave the 2 rings separate but for whatever reason that seems silly to me. I could lose the Widgy since I don't really use it but I like having it. So I'm searching.

Anyway it was 5.1 oz. It's probably still around that somewhere.

Interesting thread, i gladly ask to join it with my grams.
I have to say that think it's clear how i don't mind no more -at all- about keys...
Hope that the full loaded Skinth could be admitted here also at weight... otherwise i should wait for an appropriate thread... omg, could not wait for... :)

Weighed my stuff again today. Weight of ring with 2 car keys, house key, and car fob is 62.0g or ~2.2oz.

Weight of ring with Fenix E01, Fox 40, Vic Classic, Micro Widgy, 2.5” (not for real use) crescent wrench, garage key, shed key, tiny old key I found at my grandparents’ cabin and 1.75” carabiner is 111.0g or ~3.9 oz.
Total is 173g or ~6.0 oz.

I need to cut some weight somewhere because I only want one ring.

I've always used a Maxpedition Keyper and have a clay brick hanging "mid-air" in my right pocket.
Just joking! I do have a few keys suspended in my pocket.Been doing this for years . No wear and tear.
Never been any problems.I reckon there is no better way.Weight is irrelevant.
    Best Regards.

The keyring with actual keys is 3 oz. The keyring with my toys (LM Micra, Photon Freedom, and a keychain tape measure) is another 3 oz. That's about as heavy as I care to go.

Herbs! For baking, silly! But, what kind of baking? 8)

My keys, without 'biner/The Piece Pipe w/ SS Sliver tweezers, which is how they ride all week at work (6 days a week, 6-10hrs), come in at 63.3g. No pic, camera MIA. Shown below as right split ring ONLY.

(Ti split ring, Nite Ize MicroLock, Ti Split Pea Lighter, Ti Nitecore Single Barrel Whistle, Boker VAT, Safety Pin, Truck key, and 4 small SS split rings for better attachment/hang)

    With everything loaded - 200.3
