Keychain overhaul-switched today from a Victorinox clip to an ABS carabiner and quick disconnect couplers (these things are hard to find where I live and I don't have the patience to wait three months for a shipment off Ebay or something similar, so when I found these in brick and mortar stores I had to have them).
Quick update on my keychain. I have added a brass split ring instead of the Ti one, replaced the normal minchamp with an alox one, added a weevil, and replaced the pickpocket with an EDCF anodized version. Trit locator and gamble mini gear pull to come soon.
Setup for the last couple of days.
My wife's old handbag rescued from the charity shop bag is now a donor for all sorts of things,,,,,,,
When out of the house my keys and phone are always with me so I made a slip to marry the two together,,,,,, It's my first attempt at saddle-stitching leather.
It's good,,,,the stitching is strong but a bit wonky,,,, it will get better with practise. A couple of velcro pads hold the flap down. It must be good,, SWMBO wants one as well
After making the Mark I phone slip I fancy something a bit better with dark thread to hide my clumsy sewing,,and maybe popper closure,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I would rather jam a hot knitting needle into my eye than carry a gigantic, heavy mass of stuff on a key ring. Props to you guys who can swing it, but it would drive me bonkers. No jewelry here either. I'm very boring.
- Leatherman Style PS (for the plier)
- Victorinox Rambler
- Atwood flat driver/pry tool
- County Comm phillips driver
Less is more, I'm digging this setup!
That's one unique Trit Fob!
Looks great Boyo, you are quite the crafty one aren't you .
Can you throw up a clear pic of the Atwood. Haven't seen one like that before.
Sweet Keyton. Couldn't tell from the original pic. That is a great collection of some old pieces.
but it's not so unique... you can find some details about it here #555.
Hope this can help.
Going to put an aftermarket alarm in my car to get rid of the factory fob. That way i can get a regular key and use the smaller lighter aftermarket fob.
