I tied a piece of paracord to hold a rickety fence gate together, when I first started a client, years ago. It has sat in the rain/sun/heat/humidity for at least 4 years. I can yank on it and see no signs of weakening. It's strong stuff. Plus I've had this bead on my keys w paracord for a few months. They're heavily carried, dropped, used. In and out of the truck all day... No issues or weakening.
I used paracord on my truck keys in place of a split ring as well. Gutted it, melted the ends slightly, slid it through the keys, slid the end inside each other and sewed then together with needle and thread. Did this several months ago and still holding up great.
Absolutely, here you go. Between my truck, car, and motorcycle (and wife's car) it is rare for me to leave a set of keys on my keychain more than a few days in a row. So these get clipped and unclipped a couple tines a week. Holding up great so far.
Yes... My finger shrank during the winter so I rigged it up with 550 cord... Otherwise it flings right off... Now I'm used to it
I've switched back to the lightweight setup... Just wasn't using the other keychain tools as much as I thought I would
Yeah, I can attest from many years of wearing ID tags, they break pretty easily if pulled or yanked on. Better off avoiding them for your keys mate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi, I just wanted to let know to anyone interested in Handgrey Bauhaus biners, that K80 and K11 are now sold with discount on Massdrop. Hope, I didn't break any forum rule
Got a new dangler today for my keys. I like it a lot! Here it is with my current key set up, awaiting an awesome new Trit lantern
Nice, sir! I'd say you made out better on that trade! I don't know why they ever stopped making them. Been trying to hunt one down for years.
