Just received the Fenix E01 today. It's bigger than I thought but fits the tool keychain rather well. Now my setup is complete.

Got a couple more goodies for my EDC. I just added my first Atwood. Picked up a lefty Shutterbug. And today the mailman showed up with my brass Spalinger trit lantern. It's coming together nicely. I think I might add the other Tec Python clips to the UFO. [IMG]

You also can photocopy the barcodes and clear tape them to objects you already carry, exposing only the one you need at the moment by obscuring the others with your fingers. I show that as one of the variations of my homemade, keychain Mack 3 razor knife, about 8 minutes into this video:

Very nice! A word of warning though: Those plastic S-Biners have a tendency to break and leave your gear sitting in the dust (I learned this the hard way :/ ), I highly recommend switching to the metal ones or even better the microlocks, they are much more durable and you can lock them closed preventing any unintentional disconnecting. I'm still looking for a higher quality clip that will fit on my Handgrey biner, but for now I've been using a combination of the size 0 microlock s-biners and size 1 non-locking s-biners (for the bits I need to remove more frequently), they've worked great for me so far. Your call, but it definitely sucks to go reach for your tool and find a broken clip instead!

Thanks for the word of warning, but so far they've found their home in my pocket for the time being (I try to avoid jingling so I pocket carry when I can)

I might have to look into your suggestions, though.

lefteye219 Glad I could help brother! The app is really well thought out as well! you scan your card in, then you have an option of actually taking a pic of the front & the back of the card to add to the specific file. So there's no way of you not getting your points, or credit for the purchase, in case the salesclerk is persnickety. I've used it for about a year now with no issues.

Hmm has anyone tried using paracord to hold their keys? I'm thinking of using it but I'm wondering how it'll hold up.

I think both kevbw and kertap75 have used paracord

Well paracord is so inexpensive that even if a 6 inch length for a keychain gives up after a year you just make a new one. No big deal. Plus it will show distress way before actual failure, whereas a ball chain often just breaks out of the blue and you have a mess of keys on the ground or swimming around in your pocket.

I use a gutted (although that's less strong) paracord "key chain" on my tactical setup because I figure (at least in theory) the metallic sound of the individual devices scraping along the length of it is much quieter than metal on metal and it reduces "jangling noise" as it all bounces along in my pocket while on covert/spy missions. ;)

Yeah, I was thinking it would give a warning before breaking. Oh do ball chains break easily? That was actually my backup plan, I thought they would be stronger than paracord. I was going to crimp the connector so they became permanent.

You can cut ball chains with normal scissors.
