Since I moved half a year ago I have been fine tuneing my daily keychain and I’m now at a point where I feel that enough is enough. It is good now. The key to my new house was brass coloured, so brass became the theme. The connector is a ti boomerang thing from ali though. Good brass split rings in different small sizes has been hard to source. When I found the Daily Customs bead in mokume I could not resist. The prybar is a modified brass ruler. I am very happy with the tiny S-biner in brass that I use as connector for my SAKs. The classic with brass scales looks really pretty but it is heavy so I tend to use the classic with micarta scales instead. The “Sweet Fall” paracord finish the keychain off in a good way I think.
Important for me is that the keychain feels smooth. Keys or tools can’t get stuck. You should be able to pick one key or tool and the rest of the keychain should just adjust in a nice way with nothing getting stuck. This is why it is important for me to find the right connectors. Last I think that the keychain should form a nice “bundle” in the pocket. So here is my “perfect” keychain (for now anyway)…

    Hi,
any hint about an actual source of those tiny biners ? I'm not able to find them out.
I'm sure there are other fellow members here looking for those...
    TIA

In that case, you better stay off of EDCF or we'll convince you otherwise! :p

I have seen sources that sell anodized titanium split rings in different colors. Blue and purple are common, but you might be able to find gold-color-anodized titanium split rings.

Clever idea - I like that.

    I agree.

Where'd you source that swivel clasp? I like the look of it!

My car fob is pretty straight forward. I have a grab claw for my i1R EOS light, so I can detach it when needed. Also have a GITD attachment, plus an RFID tag thingamabob so I can find my keys if I misplace them.

Just a bunch of keyhangers I made

    [IMG] [IMG]

    Stealthy

With golden finish. Maybe black is better or copper/bronze would be cool

The coins and dies, more to come soon if I manage to make the high relief Batsy one.

And finally a single coin holder for the few times when you can't use digital payment or cards

That black dot is a dead pixel on my cell phone camera and Jack's finish is not as good as I'd like it to be, but well, there's things you must accept and move on...

    Thank you :)

Next batch, bad timing with that Lenin ruble as I've embosed it way before that useless war but only received the leather buttons a week ago...

Well then, nobody around here for a while.

A friend of mine wanted a leather keyfob for his AirTag so I tried my 31mm coin holder.
He grew up in the USSR with German ancestry, now he's here in Switzerland.
What could match better than this?

    (Hmm, can't embedd youtube shorts?)

This would work with any US $1/2 as well

Not much of a keychain lately, just my little carabiner with two keys that clips onto just about everything, the lanyard on my wallet sometimes gets clipped to it and then a bellhop.
