I put together a similar collection of EDC tools for my girlfriend as an Easter basket gift. She carries it in her purse every day.

On your setup I can identify the Spyderco Bug, alox SAK, pill fob, photon light, Inka pen, and Chapstick. What else is on there? Thanks

They're in a couple different groups:

Group 1: Inka mobile, car key, streamlight nano, flash drive and mini tape measure
Group 2: cash stash, streamlight nano, maratac stainless peanut lighter, zippo small fuel canister, victorinox alox memory drive, additional memory drive, spyderco bug, chapstick, photon light, DQG Fairy brass light
    "Group 3": single car key

I haven't really taken steps to limit redundancy - it's just a jumble that I carry for lack of keeping it in a drawer somewhere. I do use most of it and can detach each group and carry with single car key depending on the car I'm driving.

I really do like it but it takes a bit of getting used to. The Velcro elastic strap can be undone to access everything but I found with the right tension it can be perfect so things don't slide out until you want t them too.

Here's my current keychain setup. I've been toying with the idea of getting a Keysmart for the keys. Anyone have one currently have one?

Nice setup. That's a lucky Line. Flex-o-lock or Twisty?

I'm interested in the fact that you have both the Shard and the Utilikey. I've read great things about the Shard but not so great things about the utilikey including the fact that you have to remove it from your key ring to use it (and then put it back.) Do you find yourself using the Shard more often?

Thanks. It's a flex-o-lock. I've been using the lucky lines for years now and refuse to go back to split rings. I've never had one come open when I didn't want it to. I really like how it "folds" over the keys and keeps them together in my pocket. As far as the shard and utilikey, they both have their uses. The shard has a #2 philips where the utilikey has a smaller #1. It's not a big deal for me having to take it off the keys to use it when I do, and I like how it pops off when you open it up, even if you're using a split ring. The little blade on the utilikey is sharp and does most of my utility cutting to keep my folder's edge sharp. I don's always carry the utilikey, but the shard never leaves my keys. It is definitely one of the better pry bar keychain tools for the money IMO.

Wow - those clips are smaller than I had expected. Does anyone have a comparison shot to a McGizmo Nano?

Yep! Just found one that barely fit through my keys. Used o-rings as spacers. Than just a self locking nut to hold it all together. Made a wrap around from an old belt to give it a more complete look ill post tomorrow. It's now 2.0. Working to make it more complete every day. So far only $3.50 into it.
