OK I ordered a 30mm octagon TI key ring, some 18mm split rings some small ti quick release clips, and the nite ize key rack. I also ordered a Gerber artifact, and picked up a other small accessories from the bst here as well as a trit bead for my paracord piece I have a clip on for my belt loops to not have to sit on my keys when I sit down. Really looking forward to having a somewhat complete edc mini collection.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but imo the Artifact is terrible. You'd be better off with a small Leatherman or a SAK like a Cadet. The Gerber Shard, however, is essentially perfect.

Good choice with that Pickpocket. I've tried several danglers and it's still my favorite.
What's that metal thing to the left of it?

    Well it's pretty rad looking.

I've had the TEC Accesories P7(good, only for pockets), Karas Kustoms Dangler(not bad, but not a great opening shape), Griffin Pocket Tool(too long for pockets, length causes twisting and stress on belt loops). I also now have the Griffin Mini and it's pretty good, def. 2nd place.

Just to add to your choices of merchant. In my neck of the woods (Northern Virginia) Home Depot carries a good selection of NiteIze stuff (near the keys) and Walmart has a much smaller selection but at least some in hardware. And there's always Amazon....

I have a couple others coming as well so that one will probably go to the wife.

If it helps, head to everydaycommentary . COM, click reviews, and page search for Artifact. Pretty much everything in the review is spot-on with my experience with it.

Another couple of danglers I've found:
    1) Kickstarter project called TPC - Titanium Pocket Clip. Looks nice, has a version with a built-in flashlight, which can be a little gimmicky but I think could be a nice feature if you don't need much in your keychain light. Kickstarter search for "TPC" and it's the first result.
    2) Some of their design was used with permission from A.R. Custom Knives, who makes a Ti dangler as well. I think I like this one a little better since it's more minimal, and I may pick one up sometime to compare to the Pickpocket. I really like that minimalist look to it and it comes in two sizes.

Which caplifter works better, the SAK or the LM?

IMO the Brewzer. Nothing wrong with the Vic but the wider jaw on the LM gives better grip.

I trust Vic's build quality, but it's still a folding took and the LM is a "fixed blade" tool, and I'd rather use something like that just in case.

There is a SAK for everybody and for every situation. I never leave the house without one. Even in the house they are everywhere
This one I chose because of the scissors. They are much better than everything else.
