Thanks guys, I went a little quick release crazy when I got the Prometheus. The lanyard is just some leather cord looped around the dangler ("looped around the dangler" is making me giggle for some reason ) with the two ends and still connected midpoint stuffed inside of the plastic I think, I don't remember exactly and that sucker does not like coming apart.

Yesterday i was thinking .. what i don't have but could be important. A TT Chopper's new friend.
Found this bit in the garage. Tip is with bigger angle so it could substitute P1 P2 and even P3 bit. On the other side it writes "USA P2".

    Nice and simple.

Keep my car fob separate, I hate a lot of keys dangling around whilst I'm driving.

I use a P-7 on the pocket with large SAK (e.g., ALOX Farmer) and also don't notice it in my pocket. Just dangling it, no matter the dangler, is what I think does it.

Not to say anything against the Victorinox belt clip -- if I wasn't using a pickpocket I'd be inclined to get one!

Waiting for a Gerber Shard to get here. Here is my setup. I might pick up a stainless S-biner.

Or if anyone has one laying around, Ill buy or trade something for it.

I might try a Atwood when one comes up that I like. For now I picked up a Shard off Amazon, hopefully it will be a real one =)

Was an add on item for $3.50.

Current incarnation. Biner and prytool are optional as needed. The LM is a little gem!

What are your thoughts on the Grovemade keyring?

So far so good. I've had quite a few hooks, scout brass hook, corter leather bottle hook and a standard Japanese brass hook. They all had their issues. Mainly, they would come un-hooked when I got in my car. The corter was too difficult to snag my belt loop blind.

The Grovemade made has stayed put, and looks awesome. Plus it doubles as a knuck if the occasion ever arises. It's a SOLID piece of brass. Much thicker than I anticipated, and thus pretty heavy.

Overall, I really like it. My only complaint is the price and shipping. Shipping was $10 and they don't take pp. I emailed them asking for a cheaper shipping method and they gave me a coupon code for $5 bucks off. So good CS.

Would like to Ti version, but a little too spendy for a key hook for me.
