Content deleted based on information provided by Archimedes regarding McGizmo Clips and Mizumoto Machine Mfg. See his post below.

My understanding was that he originally designed and comissioned these clips, not that he is the manufacturer.

Similarly, he designs his flashlights and has them built to his specifications, but I do not think that he personally machines the parts (except perhaps for prototypes) . The electronic drivers have been produced for him in Japan (3S) and Germany (HiVe) , again at his direction.

Also, the manufacturer has stopped producing the titanium version, I believe due to cost issues, so all of the current clips are stainless steel.

Congrats on the nice dangler! My suggestion would be either a clip from TEC or Nite-ize, or the MM clips also mentioned. Also, +1 to the use of master links. Here's a pic of my current setup. The links are compact, strong, aesthetically pleasing(to most), and inexpensive. The ones you see are size #25. I'd also suggest swivels if you find things don't lay right in the pocket. Mine are SPro Heavy Swivels size 6. The round thing is a TEC Accessories UFO.

Just remember that your keychain setup doesn't have to look like anybody else's. Find what works for you.

I just remembered to suggest a Prometheus Kappa QR, which you can find on the maker's site as well as "a headquarters for blades". Also, for something a little more industrial, you could get an Amflo 900 Coupler keychain.

Archimedes, a quick search reveals that you are correct. I have edited my original post and some of our subsequent post to reflect this and remove the misinformation I provided.

    Thanks for pointing that out!

Thanks .... I was prepared to provide a link to confirm this, but it seems you have already found that :)

    Nice setup, dplafoll!

They also keep your keychain from jingling as much.

Another great suggestion! As dplafoll demonstrates with his picture, many clips can hook into the eye of the #6 swivels, but not the next size down (#5).

Boring? That's mysterious! Has that paracord been gutted? Are those coarse or fine threaded nuts? Metric or SAE? Stainless or zinc plated???

Ponder and despair, for we may NEVER know!
