LOL! well sort of. She saw it and complained a little when she saw I took her pencil thingy without her permission. But she has like 20 of them. You know how sensitive 7 yr old girls can be. Nothing that a trip to mcdonalds doesn't fix. Which i did.

Here is a picture of my new keychain and wallet setup. I have carried a leather chain wallet for the last 14 years. It has been a good wallet and chain and I have sewn it back together a few times, but I think I am gong to try something new....same chain thou....and I put this together last night to replace it. The chain still needs a spinner so it does not get wound up, but I will get or make one of those soon.

*I noticed the LED coin flashlights has all but left my minimalist EDC's since the iPhone has a enough light for most situations.

Key knife, what a cool idea. Too bad it was so poorly executed.

My question would be how do you manage to open the door with a blade attached directly to the tip of the key.Or are those keys for this purpose only ?

Built in key LED still works after 14 years of use!!! (knock on wood)

It's a craftsman, it works. I don't really know what I would use it for?

Uber minimalism at its finest. P7 hanger clip with my own splitring additions to make pulling it off really easy, a small tritium marker, house key (i dont drive), Pockettoolx Brewzer and a Preon head on a ITP stainless steel body. And yeah, there are 6 split rings used which is lol excessive, but it hangs really nicely thanks to a lot of trial error.

Ive tried various blades on it, but i just dont need a small blade on my keys when i carry a pocket knife. My favourite was the Leatherman Micra, but its weight was a bit more than i wanted for something i very very rarely used. It is awaiting a pen when i get around to ordering one but its mostly finished and it only took me a few years playing around trying new tools and gadgets to end up pretty close to what i started with, lol.

Actually it's not since it's been around for decades. When I went on vacation two years ago, I brought along a very inexpensive pen. Not a tactical pen. Not one marketed as such. Just a metal pen that happens to convert into an improvised ice-pick. And, a rather solid one as well. Took that with me. None of the sceeners said anything about it. Why should they? It's marketed as a pen, and works well as one. In the closed position, it works well as a kubaton too.

If someone wants a dedicated knife, simply buy a first-class ticket. The airline gives you one when they serve your meal to you in that section of the plane. So that little utility knife in the form of a key is less than ideal.

After getting tired of the carabiner around the belt loop, I decided to try something new. I bought an inexpensive wrist compass that I place around my belt. I hang my keys, fenix LD15, and pen with #1 S-biners off the wrist compass. Then I drop the whole thing in my pocket. It is a very compact system that is very discreet, even with slacks.

As you can see, the car keys are separate.

I would never advocate for illegal actions. I just thought the key knife was intresting.
