For a while I've been wanting to buy a hanging clip to hang my keys off of inside my pocket, but I couldn't justify paying the outrageously high shipping costs from some websites for something so small. Well, I realized my SOG flash 1 has a perfect pocket clip and I decided to attach my keys to them.

It actually works out perfect, because hanging my key chain off of my knife frees up pocket space. Plus, no bulky keys sitting at the bottom of my pocket.

Here's my other key chain sporting an old Marlboro key chain multitool from the early 90's. It originally came in a leather sheath, but that wore out some time ago and I ended up filing down the razor edge to make it safe. I rarely carry this set because my car is a POS and I never drive it.

    Thanks..!
    LOL at the picture!

It´s made out of silver, I make these in different lengths and this one I made two of.
My wife has the other one.
The brassring is from the collar of my first dog.

    My current creation:

High strength marine fixed eye snap shackle
Snake knot lanyard made by me in silver reflective paracord based off a modified version of Stormdrane's instructable (tried a flat bar Soloman but could never get it right)
Flat ring i found somewhere (its been on my desk of junk for months, possibly off something from dealextreme) that im going to upgrade to stainless some point
4gb Pretec I Disc bulletproof flash drive (used as a key for my Keepass program amongst other stuff, i have a 16 gig Sandisc drive that i carry time to time too, but usually in my wallet, the plastic wouldnt survive my keychain)
Spyderco Honeybee on a NexTorch S Biner, great little keyring knife but since i almost sliced the thing through my palm when using it once fixed on the keyring due to its weight (luckily it didnt bite me) i shifted to the safer S Biner. If i lose it, its a small loss as they are cheap.
Atwood Ghostbaby. Had a Tritium infused Superbug that i still love but since the new rig will spent 99% of its time attached to me the Trit tags dont add much and the Ghosty can do more than the Superbug, the bottle opener is pretty terrible on it though
Lastly an Al whistle with spy capsule body which i keep an emergency £10 note in. I cant properly whistle and even though ive never lost my wallet since i was 10 an emergency tenner cant be a bad thing and the overall combo is too good to not carry even if its very very rarely used

Worn clipped to my front left belt loop and hanging down into my left pocket.

Im also pretty sure i could zipline using my keychain now hahaha, i assume the paracord has a high breaking strength even though its knotted and the clip is rated for a 2500lb break point (btw i love this type of clip, im never going back to any other kind of clip and i have basically tried them all).

Thanks. My EDC light is a Ti Preon 2 which is always on me and my phone has a light function from the LED flash which is around 20 lumen of pure spill as a backup to that - oh and i have an E01 on the outside of my bag when i have that on me and sometimes another light in the bag. I considered adding a fauxton or other cheap button cell but cant ever see me using it.

The hole i probably have right now is not having a lighter i regularly carry, so a little split pea i might add in the future if i ever pull the trigger on ordering one.
