Are you asking what is a turbine blade? They are the blades that go in a jet engine. There are all types of sizes and most are made of titanium. I put the small ones on a keychain and they look great! I have a collection of about 50 different types. I will try and post a pictures tomorrow. I hope that helps?

    Hey figtree
I must emphasize they are my wife's keys, repeat my keychain is NOT pink, NOT pink, so don't get scared about your buddy Luigi using Pinky stuff :)
About the keys please don't watch the following video:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Uv45y6vkcQ&search=bump%20key
    (Repeat: Don't watch it)
    :)

BTW: Any recommendation for pink keychain items? :)

    Cheers

     :explode:

:censored: it, now we're going to have to always leave at least one person in the house to guard all the stuff! For example: :armor: + :batman: + :wolverine: + :uglystupid2: + >:D + :police: + :judge: =  :bolt: or :spank: and :stretcher:

Either that, or we embrace the Buddhist philosophy that divesting ourselves of worldly possessions (or just having them all stolen) will liberate our souls and send us on the path to enlightenment.  :yoga:

    Isn't sharing information great?

*edit* Forgive me, I couldn't resist an opportunity to tell a short story with the smileys...I'll try to be good from now on, I promise!

He warned me not to watch it, but I didn't listen! Why, oh WHY didn't I LISTEN!?

And to make this an "on-topic" post (retroactively), I will say that pics of my keyring will be forthcoming, pending a few additions to the already too-heavy "flail" and the acquisition of a decent camera. I like what I'm seeing...this thread is giving me ideas!

Wow...That's a great addition to anyone's keyring. But the part I don't get is, are there different types of bumpkeys? Or just a universal key?

Please someone say they've got one!! O0

Telling someone to not doing something is a great way of making them do it anyway. Try it with your kids.

On the other hand, you guys have a choice - I check links to make sure they're not malicious code. :(

Bumpkeys are different for each lock type, you just need a "normal" key for the lock cut to the deepest position for each pin. It's easy to do at the locksmith shop.
I guess the dog is the last defense point now :)

With great power comes great responsibility. Thanks for looking out for us greenLED (and all you other moderators)!

Am I correct in assuming that POSESSION of a bumpkey is legal and that only UNLAWFUL USE of the key will result in prosecution? Or will asking a locksmith to make you one of these send up red flags at the local police station?

It is as legal as having a screwdriver :)
If anyone gets one and tries let me know.
To be offtopic I say.... er.... sorry ! :)

Sorry, one more thing - Are they reusable? One you 'bump' them do they fit the lock, and never return to their original universal state? How is this off topic?? I'm getting one for my keyring ASAP!

They are reusable, nothing happens to the bumpkey and unless you bump too hard nothing happens to the lock, so it looks as if you opened with a normal key.

    Finally got my gear together,

    Atwood whsitle
    Atwood mini-prybaby
    Photon Freedom, green NV
    Ti pillcrusher, home-made
    House keys
    Paracord lanyard with ti ferrules
    Berkeley clips and rings

I've found the scewdriver on the mini-pry a little difficult to use when it's attached to anything, and it fits perfectly onto a BP mini-clip. I've also polished it as the bead-blast finish was steadily eating my brass keys!

Doubt the set up will stay this way for long though!
