Where did you get that brass utili-key? It looks really nice.
Is that a micro widgy cut into an atwood style tool?
Hang on, does that mean that all bmw drivers have access to each others cars?
e206 - that is actually a gold Titanium coating on a USA made version of the utilikey. they do not make them anymore.
Phill - yes, I grinded the new Pico Widgy into a screw/pry/pop. took me 20 minutes of cutting /grinding / dremel modification, with 48 hours in the stone tumbler. I really like it for $5 Cost of Goods plus my time.
Do you know where the regular ones are made?
Nice job! I was looking for something like that before I got my Vic Rambler.
The ones they make now are made in china ... they are ok. not as good as the ones that were made in the US back in the day.
Thanks for the information Ryan.
There sure is lots of good info in this thread.
I've been looking for a keychain system that allows me to quick-release multiple items without being bulky or releasing items when I don't want it to. After looking over this thread, I like the Bison Designs Key Caddie (from REI). I found one that looks the same (may even be the same manufacturer) and costs about the same, but has laser engraving and free shipping. I've never heard of the company and have no idea how reliable they are, but I think I'm going to get one of these with my amateur radio call sign engraved in it. Then again... the impatient side of me wants to drive to REI at lunch and pick one up without the engraving.
I'm also working on a magnetic quick release for my Fenix SS LD01. I want a magnet recessed in the base for utility, but the magnet will block the key ring holes, so I really hope I can get it to work. My biggest concern with the magnet system is accidental releases, but the magnets I got in yesterday are amazingly strong. I'll have to test it after my light arrives and post some photos.
how did you get a titanium cruzer u3?
Here's my keychain ;D :

From the top:
-Colby Knot and tool: Nut Banger
-SS whistle by silentnight
-Ti Inka Pen
-G3 Prybaby w/ glow fob
Let me know what you think! :highfive:
Very cool. A lot of capacity in that set up. How do you carry it?
SanDisk Ultra® Cruzer® Titanium
Thanks. Either in pocket w/ the fob hanging out, on a small Oakley "O" carabiner on a belt loop, or on a neck lanyard:
Where did you get that whistle? Are they still available?
I actually bought it off here not to long ago :roof: (not from the original maker though)
Silentnight seems to be pretty active on USN, maybe you could message him there.
(they are awesome prices too, compared to some Atwood ones)
If they aren't available anymore I would suggest the ones at uniquetitanium.com
They are only $29 for a small titanium whistle! I can post pictures for you but the picture on the website would be better than what I could produce.
Does anyone know where to purchase those detachable clips? I've mostly seen them on my SanDisk flash drives.
