So I had this idea that either I need to find a utility knife for my keychain, or find a decent small knife with a pocket clip but that will still have a hole attach to a keyring. I noticed Spyderco has a few, with most having the pocket clip oriented wrong to be able to use them effectively as a key dangler. So, I wanted to tap the great consciousness that is the EDCF and see what knives you all could up with.

    Thanks Guys and Gals!

How about a Cold Steel Mimi Tuff Lite? It's actually just about the size of the Leatherman Style CS that I carry on my keychain.

Kershaw Chive and CRKT Peck might be good for you.

The one on the right is a Boker Magnum Barracuda-isn't very pretty but very slim, thin, and great great lockup-All my other knives look better, but this knife somehow keeps a razor sharp edge and doesn't even pick up fingerprints. I keep trying to hate this knife but can't get myself to. It was my first knife outside some no-namers, so things have changed since then. Still a great knife.

The Cricket. Tip-down and thin. A perfect dangler and knife.

Pretty sure OP wants the knife to use as a suspension clip.

Thanks both of you for the replies! Jim, Kokushi is right, though I can't fault your logic on Cold Steel. My goal here was to find something that will work as a dangler AND package opener. Tired of cleaning tape adhesive off the bigger knives but want it handy to.

It dawns on me that a Spydie Ambitious might work to.

How about a CRKT KISS? They're cheap, simple, elegant, have a lanyard hole, and have a clip oriented for tip-down carry. Plus they're available in lots of different sizes and blade configurations.

    I particularly like the PECK:

Just making sure you got the notice.

Also, I think this is a good opportunity to compile a list of folding knife danglers since a lot of people are contributing.
