Love my SR-22 as well. I want to pick up a threaded barrel then a suppressor, that is a goal for me. I just wish the safety wasn't backwards...

I really really like mine, never really paid attention what I am putting through it though. I buy whatever is available buckets here boxes there and usually the lowest price.

This is what it looks like packed up.

there's faster rounds, but aguila interceptors & cci velocitors are the heaviest hypervelocity hunting rounds @ 40 grns. that stated, follow advisements of gun maker regarding compatible ammo and ammo restrictions for the specific model in question.

This is the only .22 LR i currently have, a Mossberg 142A. The first rifle my father purchased as a teenager in 1954. I just picked it up from the gunsmith after having some minor oxidation removed from the barrel and scope and everything was re-blued. It's now ready for my 12 year old to use as he moves on from his BB gun.

Another family heirloom from my grandfather. A Wards Westernfield 47C. Cross-references to a Mossberg 45B or 46B. Sweet little tack driver! Need to shoot it more though!

takedown would probably be the more utilitarian option for general use; e.g., target, plinking, small game, etc. the standard variant will come with snazzy & functional case, not certain about the other models such as magpul, etc.

(had to take pic when first got it for reference on how to stow back in case after use, lol).

Mine arrived exactly like your pic here when I got it and the Magpul stock is just a kit that takes 10 minutes to change into but makes the whole thing a lot more compact and easy to carry or at least I think so.

There is also another option for the Kit that is what I was hoping and thinking mine would be but then mine showed up just like yours.

here is my always edc naa survival 22lr in a soft cellphone case. i’ve caught myself putting it cased on a public counter while fishing in a pocket for keys or loose coins. it’s not tactical but is a most discrete and handy ccw for me as a cornered animal.

while i prefer the ruger sr22 as my best all around plinker, i do use the ruger lcr 22lr as a ccw sometimes.

I had some fun with this the other day. Suppressed, and with the right ammo, it really is amazingly quiet. Just the click-clack of the action!

Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory w/a Gemtech Outback II suppressor.
