Ok folks, this one has been on hold since before Christmas. Turns out there's quite a waiting list for giveaways. This was in honor of me passing 1000 posts, and also of achieving a personal goal of a 2:1 likes-to-posts ratio. The prize is a pre-paid store credit/gift certificate for $100 at the EDCForums store! http://www.jsburlys.com/index.php?app=ecom&ns=splash That's right, I pay the bill, you get the stuff. There is no purchase required, the first $100 is on me. This is a store credit. If you don't want something big, then buy a lot of little stuff. If you don't spend it all at one time, then work with Jon to keep it on file for you. This is my way of saying a big THANKS to Jon and all of his dedication and struggle in keeping his store and this forum open, and to maybe drum up some interest in the Forum Store. I've bought plenty of stuff from Jon, and he always gets the first chance at my gear and gadget spending. In the spirit of the Giveaway, go poke around in the store and see what's on the shelves. I know some of the cooler stuff is out of stock, but if you ask nice maybe he can find what you want for you or can add it to a future restock order. So post away! THESE ARE THE OFFICIAL RULES. THIS IS A SANCTIONED EDCF GIVEAWAY. GO! 1. This giveaway is open to all members of EDCF and will end at 10:00 p.m. EDST on Sunday, March 16, 2014. What do you have to do to participate? 2. Simply post, "I'm in!" And maybe a thank you or some kind words. 3. Your post number will be your giveaway entry number. ONLY ONE POST PER PERSON! Thanks! 4. At the close of the giveaway, thewinner will be chosen through a random number generator. 5. The winner's name will be posted in a separate thread. [Clarification - Store credit means store credit. If you want a $150 knife, I pay the first $100, you pay the next $50.] UPDATE: Jon has the munny, wair iz ur entry?? EDIT: I cut and pasted the standard EDCF forum giveaway rules, which uses the term "winners" since it is generic to cover any kind of contest. I should have edited it beforehand and changed it to "winner" - singular, since there is only a single prize here. Sorry for any confusion. I have edited the original rules to show the appropriate wording.
